Laura Schultz’s passion for uplifting and collaborating with organizations making a positive impact on the community is what drew her to Horizon Group. Laura plays a crucial role in managing social media, digital marketing, press releases, and communication efforts for Horizon Group, numerous clients, and supports our market research services.
Prior to joining Horizon Group, Laura attended Drake University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. She served in various leadership roles, most recent as an intern at the Iowa Public Health Association (IPHA). During her tenure, she supported a variety of IPHA’s marketing and outreach initiatives. Her experience with a nonprofit, non-partisan organization, where she created marketing campaigns for public health initiatives and events, solidified her desire to join Horizon Group where she could utilize her digital marketing and communications skills.
At Horizon Group, Laura serves as the Communications Coordinator, providing communication support to her clients and the Horizon Group team. Her creativity and exceptional organizational skills ensure that all communications are clear, engaging, and effective. Laura’s dedication to fostering positive relationships and her strategic approach to messaging make her an invaluable asset to our team.
Laura lives in Waukee with her partner, Alex, and her bernedoodle, Koda. In her free time, she can be found teaching yoga, reading on her patio, and traveling to new places.
